BIO

Donna Gardos is a founding member of the Gardos-Fine String Trio and a former member of the Robbins String Quartet and Amacorda Quartet, in residence at Rowan University. She has performed with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, Long Island Philharmonic, White Mountains Festival Orchestra, and Caramoor Festival Orchestra. An active chamber musician and solo recitalist, Donna appeared at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and, most notably, in concert with legendary pianist Samuel Sanders, with the New York String Orchestra, and as guest artist on WQXR’s “Young Artists in Concert.”  

Donna is a graduate of SUNY Purchase and Yale Summer School of Music, and a former student of Maurice Eisenberg, Charles McCracken, George Ricci, and Jonathan Abramowitz. She is also an accomplished education writer for the arts and computer sciences; her works are published by Ziff-Davis Education and Thomson Publishing Group.
